River Expeditions continues “Terrific Weekdays” into 2016

Whitewater rafting in the New River Gorge in West Virginia is known to be some the best in the world, with a trip to satisfy everyone from the first-time rafter, to the experienced veteran. This year, River Expeditions will be continuing its immensely popular “Terrific Weekday” specials, creating the perfect opportunity to get back on the water in 2016.

This year, River Expeditions will be continuing to support the choice to hit the water by offering trips down the New River with the 2^nd pass for ½ off on any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of the rafting season! This special is a great way to get away midweek and conquer that whitewater itch, and a fantastic discount makes the day just a little bit sweeter.

One of the best things about this promotion is that it lasts throughout the rafting season, from April until October – so there are ample opportunities to hit the water in 2016. A trip down the New River can be a great way to get to know whitewater rafting because many routes are suitable for the new rafter. A day on the water generally lasts about 5-7 hours, including a waterside BBQ lunch with all your outdoor favorites. Being able to swim is help, but not required, and River Expeditions supplies all necessary safety equipment, including a Coast Guard Approved Type V Life Jacket, a paddle and helmet.
