Tamarack is large arts, crafts and conference facility less than 20 minutes from River Expeditions. It showcases West Virginia craft products such as wood, glass, textiles, pottery, metal, jewelry, as well as specialty food items, fine art, and books and recordings about West Virginia. There are five resident artisan studios and most weekends from Spring through Fall, Tamarack offers a schedule of events including artisan demonstrations, food tastings, book signings and live performances.
