Oak Hill is home to historic gift shops and restaurants full of local crafts, memorabilia and color. Plan your visit in September and you can enjoy the Oak Leaf Festival with local crafts and vendors, car, bike and art shows, a chili cookoff and live entertainment.

Tamarack is large arts, crafts and conference facility less than 20 minutes from River Expeditions. It showcases West Virginia craft products such as wood, glass, textiles, pottery, metal, jewelry, as well as specialty food items, fine art, and books and recordings about West Virginia.
