My daughter, friends and I rafted the Lower New on May 10. It was a tremendous experience!  I think all of us (ages 29, 31.  48. 56, 61 & 62) all expected something perhaps a little more tame.  Other portions of the river or other times of the year might provide a more calm trip, but NONE of us would change a thing. Our guide, Dave was the absolute best! He instructed us and drilled us on paddling, and guided us through the rapids.  And did I mention he was strong enough to lift each of us back into the raft when we went overboard? I would totally recommend this experience, this company, and this guide to anyone who is considering a rafting trip.  Thank you, River Expeditions for the great Mothers’ Day weekend!
