Every day is an opportunity for new adventures, so what’s better than a day on the river? Two days on the river! Our multi-day package combines two exciting days of rafting and river adventures with three nights of basecamp lodging, allowing you to enjoy all the comfort and convenience River Expeditions has to offer.

Here you can use our inflatable kayaks, called ‘duckies’, for even more fun on the water. After a great day on the river, pull over and relax while dinner is being prepared by your guide. After dinner, gather around the cozy campfire for a sing-a-long and a marshmallow roast. The next morning you’ll enjoy a delicious hearty breakfast before taking on another section of the Upper New River for the second day. This is the ultimate family bonding trip – perfect for families with children ages 6 and up.

What is Family Class?

Family Class Trips (min. age 6) are a playful introduction to river rafting in West Virginia. They are great for families with young children or older adults who want a low-impact adventure. These trips feature easy-to-moderate rapids, tranquil pools, and amazing scenery. Single and two-person duckies (inflatable kayaks) are also available for added fun.
