Available on any New River or Gauley River trip, these upgrades help create the kind of day you’ll be talking about long after you’re off the water.
Choose Your Raft Size
Two small raft options are available:
- Wildside: Up to 7 people
- Extreme Wildside: Up to 4 people
Smaller rafts are more responsive and allow for a more involved paddling experience. You’ll feel more connected to the flow of the river, the rhythm of your group, and the beauty all around you.
A More Active Way to Paddle
Smaller rafts give you the chance to work more closely with your guide and your group as you navigate the river together. For those who enjoy a more hands-on style of paddling, this upgrade adds a new level of engagement to your trip.
Note: On Gauley River trips, we recommend small raft upgrades for guests over 18 with prior experience on more advanced whitewater.
